Dragonfly Chiropractic and Wellness Centre is located in Waterloo. The principal technique of chiropractic used in the practice is called Network Spinal Analysis, which is a low-force technique.
Dr. Sara O'Neill, B.Sc., D.C. 
Dr. Sara is originally from Manotick, Ontario, near Ottawa. She went on to study Biology at the University of Waterloo and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree. She entered the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1996 and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2000.
Dr. Sara is committed to excellence in the care she provides and performing to her highest potential as a practitioner. She has sought out training and accreditation in various disciplines both within the chiropractic field and in related health fields. She has achieved the highest level of certification withine the Network Spinal Analysis method. Dr. Sara is a founding member of an international group of doctors called X-cles. Their vision is to promote excellence in the field of reorganizational healing and wellness worldwide.
Her love of children has led her to train and become certified with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and Dr. Sara is always passionate about entraining the many children in her practice. If a child grows up with a clear nervous system they can reach their highest potential as an adult.
In addition to her duties as a chiropractor, Dr. Sara enjoys synchronized skating and playing with her son, Declan. She greatly enjoys travel as a means of expressing her vitality and has in recent years traveled to Australia, France, and within the US.

Marilyn MacDonald, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Marilyn MacDonald graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy with honours and became licensed as a Registered Massage Therapist. Having worked in the insurance industry for many years, Marilyn has found a home in the Health Care field. She is a member of the CMTO and the OMTA.
While in school, Marilyn volunteered an additional 80 hours of massage beyond the required 30 hours. She has volunteered at various sporting events, nursing homes and health fairs and has helped to raise funds for the Cancer Society, Mental Health and the MS Society. She has attained specialties in Sports and Geriatrics.
Since entering Massage Therapy, she has been encouraged by the results and success from her clients. She has attained certification in Hot Stone Therapy and continues to upgrade her skills by taking courses in Shiatsu, Myofascial Release and Thai Massage.
Susan Gittens, CFC
Athletic trainer, Wellness Coach
Susan was born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario. Through her school years Susan has always been evolved in athletics from gymnastics to running. Her love of fitness and health caused her to pursue her passion and graduated with a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Fanshawe College. Susan continued to focus on different ways to compliment her training; she received her full certication as a Pilates instructor with PhysicalMind Institute, New York. Then pursued her certication as a Pre/Post Natal Specialist. Susan’s passion for her work drives her to give her clientele the best service she can provide, she consults with other medical practioners in all fields to provide solutions to difficult problems.
The services Susan provides is Nutrition counseling, Biomechanics retrainment, Pilates instruction, Pre and Post Natal instruction and guidance, Post- Rehabilitation/ Injury Prevention and Wellness and Goal setting
Susan offers One to One and semi private training, at the clinic or at comfort of your own home.
In addition to her duties as a wellness coach, Susan enjoys running, dancing hip hop with children ages 8 to 18 and photography.
Maria Vermeer, B.A.
Office Manager
Maria completed her Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Professional Writing at the University of Waterloo in April 2008. Her time at university fine-tuned her interest in art, writing, and working to make a difference in the world around her. After graduating she spent six months volunteering as a support worker and teacher in South Africa.
Upon her return to Kitchener-Waterloo, she became a part of Dragonfly Chiropractic and Wellness Center as a Chiropractic Health Assistant and Office Manager. Maria enjoys seeing the difference NSA makes in people’s lives, and watching people move towards their full potential.
Outside of the office Maria continues to explore her interest in art, film, writing, travel, social justice and anything creative.
